We headed to the stables expecting to need to work in the practice arena (it's Thursday and that normally means lessons).
When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that their were no lessons and the stables were deserted.
We tacked up LBR and headed to the arena. He was absolutely perfect tonight. Did his ground flexing work when first asked and stayed absolutely focused on both Cindy & Gary while they rode.
After about 1 hour working mostly at the walk on flex, whoa's and straight lines, we saw lightening in the far distance (about 30 miles away) so we quickly detacked, groomed and led him back to his paddock (he still has no paddock mate).
We were under a tornado warning tonight, so we 'hurried home'.
