It's Monday so Cindy was back to work and Gary had LBR all to himself.
Gary headed over to the stables around 11:00 a.m. as the weather is warming up a bit (high today was 53F).
Gary led LBR from the paddock to the grooming stalls. Gary groomed and saddled LBR with his saddle, the standard d-ring and German martingale.
They rode in the sand arena for a while and LBR did well except for the areas with deep footing. They cantered a little and LBR got a bit 'hot' so Gary worked him in the sand arena a bit more and then ended the ride in the grass arena and on a "trail" ride around the two arenas.
LBR broke a sweat during todays ride but cooled down nicely during the walk around the stables.
They ended with grooming, a walk back to the paddock and some freshly baked (yesterday) horse cookies, carrots & alfalfa cubes.
