The cool evenings/mornings continue. When Cindy was leaving for work, it was 70F degrees. She suggested to Gary that he go ride LBR in the morning and enjoy the cool temperatures.
Gary headed to the stables around 8:30 a.m. He saddled LBR with his saddle and they headed to the sand arena for the ride.
Gary focused on working LBR at the walk/trot on a loose rein. LBR responded very well. After their flat work, Gary took LBR over cross-rails and the 18" gates/jumps. They trotted into the last line and Gary let LBR canter away and around the arena.
They ended the ride with a "trail ride" around the property.
LBR got wormed today. What an awful taste:-(
Gary de-tacked and rinsed LBR before returning him to his paddock for treats and the rest of his alfalfa.
