Gary headed to the stables in the morning as our trainer was doing a training ride on LBR at 9:00 a.m.
LBR led up nicely from his paddock and stood quietly for grooming. The trainer tacked him up with her saddle and bridle (mild edge bit).
Once again, LBR started out perfectly at the walk trot. He was a bit "hot" during his canter so the trainer tried alternating trot and canter. Poor LBR...he became so confused that the trainer had to bring him back to the trot and work for a while to calm him down.
Once he calmed, she rode him through some courses and patterns including the gray gate which he loves to jump now.
After the ride, Gary groomed LBR and returned him to his paddock.
Tomorrow is a big day....hauling to the show and possibly a schooling ride by the trainer.
