Cindy Cantering LBR In Lesson

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Gary & Cindy headed to the stables around 9:15 a.m. for Cindy's 10:00 a.m. lesson on LBR.

It's been a long week of very successful rides. Gary brought LBR up from his paddock as Cindy staged the grooming stall.

LBR was very mellow - probably more exhausted and it was odd because everyone (horses and people) seemed to be in the same mood.

Cindy mounted LBR for her lesson in the sand arena. LBR was so quiet. The lesson was small (4 horses/riders). LBR did well at the walk/trot with the whole group. He then got to canter with one other horse for the first time. It was obvious that he was a tired today. He did well at everything asked but had very little "spunk".

After the lesson, Cindy took him on a brief trail ride. When she de-tacked him, his nose was nearly on the ground from exhaustion and he fell asleep as he was being groomed.

Gary led him back to his paddock where Cindy and he ave LBR his treats.

Tomorrow is LBR's much deserved day off....per our trainer - Gary and Cindy totally agree.
